Paris, in Bloom
Paris, in Bloom was inspired by a spring morning in Paris, where I wandered through the gardens beside Shakespeare & Company, looking across the flowers toward the elegant rooftops beyond. The contrast between the formal architecture and the abundance of blooms felt distinctly Parisian—a city where beauty seems to appear around every corner.
Back in my Tennessee studio, I returned to that photograph and allowed the watercolor to become less about documenting a place and more about capturing the feeling of being there: the quiet, the light, and the sense of discovery that comes from slowing down enough to truly notice your surroundings.
This is a one-of-a-kind, original watercolor on 22 × 30-inch paper with deckled edges. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back.
Please note: This original watercolor is sold unframed and ships within the U.S. only.
