The Quiet Window
The Quiet Window was inspired by the windows at the Musée de Montmartre in Paris, where Suzanne Valadon once lived and worked. Standing in her former studio, I was drawn not only to the view beyond the glass, but to the quiet sense of presence that lingers in a place where creativity once flourished.
Back in my Tennessee studio, I returned to that memory and painted not the details of the room, but the feeling of looking through those windows—the changing light, the leaves swaying outside, and the peaceful pause that invited me to simply stand and observe.
This is a one-of-a-kind, original watercolor on paper with deckled edges. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back.
Please note: This original watercolor is sold unframed and ships within the U.S. only.
